When Is Cricket World Cup 2023

The 13th edition of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup is scheduled from October 5 to November 19, 2023. The tournament will be hosted by India, marking the first time the country will host the event. Previously, India co-hosted the tournament in 1987, 1996, and 2011 with other countries on the Indian subcontinent.

The tournament will feature 10 teams, including the 2019 England defending champions. Other participating teams include India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Afghanistan. The Netherlands and Sri Lanka have also qualified for the 2023 World Cup.

The matches will be played across 10 cities in India, with the final match scheduled to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19, 2023. The two semi-finals will be hosted in Mumbai and Kolkata.

The tournament was originally planned to be held from February 9 to March 26, 2023, but the dates were moved to October and November due to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
