Tyreek Hill Shares Unconventional Take on Best NFL Running Backs, Omitting Iconic Jim Brown
Miami Dolphins wide-receiver Tyreek Hill offered a fresh take recently on the five best running backs of all time in the NFL. He gave his verdict on the podcast "It Needed To Be Said."
His top picks are Adrian Peterson, Derrick Henry, Barry Sanders, Gale Sayers and Eric Dickerson. However, many wondered why Jim Brown has not been included in this list as Brown is considered one of the best running back of all time.
Adrian Peterson tops the list with 126 touchdowns and 14918 rushing yards.
With 83 touchdowns and 8335 rushing yards, Derrick Henry is placed in the second position.
Barry Sanders, a consistent performer with at least 1,100 rushing yards per season throughout his 10-year career, ranks third on Hill's list.
Gale Sayers and Eric Dickerson also made the cut.
Conclusion
Jim Brown should have been included in this list at least in the top three spots, if not the first, as many fans consider him the best running back in NFL history. His record averaging more than 100 rushing yards per game is unmatched and yet to be broken. He also won many honors, such as the AP Most Valuable Player and was nominated for the Heisman trophy.
