Ray Lewis III, the son of legendary football Hall of Famer Ray Lewis, died tragically at 28.

His younger brother has confirmed this news in an emotional Instagram post. The cause of his death is unknown.

Ray Lewis III was inspired by his father and followed in his footsteps. He played college football at the University of Miami, Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and Virginia Union.

He later joined the Wyoming Mustangs, an indoor football team.

His father is best known as an exceptional linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens.
