Are NBA Contracts Guaranteed

Fully guaranteed contracts are the most common among established NBA players. Once signed, the player is assured the full value of the contract, regardless of injury or performance. However, not all contracts are fully guaranteed. Some deals only guarantee a portion of the salary.
