NFL On Thanksgiving Day

Football fans eagerly await the NFL Thanksgiving triple-header this year, just like the previous years. Thanksgiving Day showcases some of the best games of the season. This tradition has existed since 1920, with one game hosted by the Detroit Lions since 1934 and one hosted by the Dallas Cowboys since 1966.

This year, Thanksgiving is on November 23rd and will feature three games. One between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions, one between Washington Commanders and the Dallas Cowboys and the last between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.

Also, this year the NFL will honour the late John Madden with the 'John Madden Thanksgiving Celebration.' John Madden was a legendary football icon. CBS, FOX and NBC will broadcast segments related to Madden's indelible legacy.
