New York Jets History
The New York Jets share their home with the New York Giants at MetLife stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. They were earlier known as the New York Titans in the American Football League. They were founded in 1960.
They defeated the Baltimore Colts 16-7 in Superbowl III in 1969. In that game, Broadway Joe Namath publicly guaranteed that the underdog Jets would win the game. Since then, the Jets have failed to make the Superbowl as of 25th December 2022. They have one of the longest droughts for a Superbowl appearance. The Jets enjoyed decent success between 2001-2010, making the playoffs six times.
They have young players like quarterback Zach Wilson and offensive tackle Mekhi Becton. The Jets look to soar high in the upcoming NFL season once more.
